Animation of Cable Lock
System

|
Cable Lock System
(depths from 9 to 90 feet)
Advantages
- It has all the advantages of the simple pressed
pilings plus installation controls.
- Depth can be verified by measuring the cable
extension.
- The cable has a tensile strength of 200,000 p.s.i.
versus a maximum of 60,000 p.s.i. rebar used in
other systems.
- The cable controls horizontal movement.
- The entire pile system is locked together with the
cable. This enables the lower portion of the piling
to act as an anchor preventing upheaval during wet
periods (much like the under-ream on a pier).
Prevents space between cylinders during wet/dry
cycles.
- City inspectors, engineers, and you personally can
verify job performance.
- Pilings are tested during installation (concrete
and soil) to ensure future performance.
- A safety factor provided by load distribution and
thixotropy ensures the pilings' future performance.
